For those of you interested in how my dad is doing: he’s doing much better physically but he’s in the bottom of the valley emotionally and mentally. He’s finding it very difficult and finding the mental energy and drive to carry on is quite hard just now. We’re hoping he’ll leave ICU in the next few days and hopefully within a week or so be transferred to a hospital much closer to my parent’s home.
Today, I’ll be running the 33km Ecotrail Stockholm all as part of building up towards this beast in August. So I’ll be starting a new training plan next week with more tempo & threshold runs in them.
The great summer shutdown when all of Sweden forgets to show up to work is nearly upon us. It’s a two month period where, in the cities at least, it’s quite hard to do anything and you just hope your church is still there when everyone returns in August!
