I read a lot of blogs by a lot of people who read a lot of books. So at this time of the year they all do the same thing (and I will too probably) and share their books of the year. So I thought I’d put all those lists in one place – here! I find these lists helpful because it often forms the basis of my 2021 reading. I’ll put that together soon (here it is!).

As Tyler Cowen says, “A good list has never been more valuable, and please note my recommendations are never done to fill a quota, “achieve balance,” right previous wrongs, or whatever. They are what I think are the best books.  Scary how rare that has become.”

Time invested in reading is time well spent and the sharing of books is a tradition we shouldn’t ever lose. Books should be read and re-read and digested. They will broaden your horizons, transport you to other worlds, they will inform, entertain, absorb, change you, move you and grow you. Books also make a home after all, and if they don’t make a home they do make for spectacular bookshops!
