The posts to read that others have written

• Kevin DeYoung’s review of Love Wins is probably the most obvious place to turn for a comprehensive rebuttal and strong opposition of the theology of the book.
• Jon Coutts shows a really good approach to engaging with the theology of Love Wins by trying to line it up with his denomination’s statement of faith
• Probably by far the best review I’ve read of Love Wins (in numerous parts) is that by Steve Holmes
• Darren at Via Crucis has some really good links and some good points on engaging in the debate
• This article dates Undying Worm, Unquenchable fire by Robert Peterson from 2000 which was the last time we had a major controversy about hell. It is a superb review of the EA’s The Nature of Hell and shows how to properly handle differences on this issue. Here is the reports conclusion
• Christopher Morgan gives the wider context to the debate on hell
• Also by Christopher Morgan is an excellent summary of the different responses to the question, ‘what about those who haven’t heard?’ (Piper would be at 2, Stott at 4 and Bell at 7)

• CS Lewis on hell (an interesting general article on the theology of CS Lewis with some brief comments on hell)
• Piper’s response to Stott’s annihilationism. This gives a brief reaction to the view of Stott on hell.
