This week I’ve been in Malaga, Spain which is always a treat for someone who lives in Sweden. We’ve had a great September but as the month closes out the weather has noticeably shifted from late summer to fine autumn. It’s beautiful but also noticeably cooler all of a sudden. So heading down to the south of Spain is a last chance dip back into summer weather, shorts, t-shirts and all day warmth.
I was there for the Pioneer Europe Conference which aims to equip, encourage and enlist pioneers for the cause of church planting and mission throughout Europe. If you know anyone for whom this would be beneficial, they should join us next year.

This Week’s Postings
I had great hopes but they were dashed.
From The Archives
I remain unconvinced that Galatians 3:28 is a control text that redefines how I read all the other mentions about gender as if Paul had somehow forgotten this verse when he wrote Titus 1:5-6. I’m not yet persuaded that the Galatians would have read these verses and thought Paul meant what egalitarians say he meant. That’s a crucial first base in getting our understanding of the text right.
Have a great weekend.
