I was…in a conversation with some other leaders about growing in the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22-23) which was challenging but deeply helpful as I was having a bad day. As we talked the concept of character, growth was put in the context of a very simple grid: appetite, ambition and approval. I found this an immediately helpful way of thinking about submitting all of my life to the lordship of Christ.
