Last year, according to an ICAN report, the countries that have nuclear weapons spent $157,664 per minute on them. $82.9 billion is a lot to spend on something everyone says they’ll never use, or only use if the other guys uses them first. It is madness. It is wrong. It is immoral and unjustifiable. But here we are in a world with nuclear weapons, with a new country joining the nuclear club every decade or so, making the world less safe in the process.

Ukraine has shown us how nuclear weapons can be used a deterrent not from war but in the cause of war. That’s what Putin has done to keep everyone out. Anyway here are your latest reminders that this remains a real and present threat to humanity and to our planet.
