Live longer (move to Sweden)

A-mazing: A route a customer took through a store. Professor Alan Penn said they are designed to stop customers leaving

It should come as no surprise that I’ll be blogging about the country that in a few months time I’ll begin to call ‘home’. Many church planters will actively promote the ‘influence’ of their city like various sorts of religious tourist agencies. I’ll no doubt do that myself at some point and I’ll be relying on you to keep me humble and not start taking myself too seriously all of a sudden.

Sweden is a beautiful country and we’re looking forward to living there but statistically speaking the move raises the risk on our marriage as 55% of all marriages in Sweden end in divorce which certainly may be the case if we visit Ikea too many times, designed as they are that those who shop there may actually never leave.

But there are other advantages to living in Sweden compared to the UK. I’ll earn more and live longer amongst other things. Compared to the USA things get better still despite earning 20% less and keeping the lights switched on I’ll live even longer, spend 50% less on health care, be more environmentally friendly, healthy and generally happy.

Convinced?
