Book Review: Sacrifice

Sacrifice - Costly grace and glorious privilegeSacrifice – Costly grace and glorious privilege by Simon Guillebaud
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This short book is a simple call to give everything to follow Jesus because Jesus gave everything for you. It takes just one verse (Romans 12:1) and breaks it down into five short chapters on sacrifice: grace-full, urgent, voluntary, holy and logical.

I know Simon personally and I know he lives what he preaches, that his heart has always burst every time he hears of a call to action, it spurs him on and here he shares some of those stories that he hopes will spur the reader on to not accept mediocre as the normal standard for Christian living.

It won’t take long to read it but the challenge will ring in your ears long after you have put the book down.
