Our Christmas Service is in the books and it went really well: a very positive step forward for us as a church. In other news this year might be turning out to be one of the darkest months since 1934. As of a few days ago Stockholm has had less than an hour’s sunlight this month! And because it is so mild there isn’t even any snow to brighten things up. Chances of a white Christmas looking bleak. But it’s time to begin to focus on the year ahead and get rested before we head around the sun one more time.

Pay attention to your heart folks.
If we continue to humbly acquire the knowledge of Christ then a church is not so much split between teachers and learners but where everyone is a learner and where we can learn from everyone. We all have more to learn, I most certainly do. Do you know everything you need to handle everything in life as Christian? It’s less about looking for that 40 minute opportunity to bend someone’s ear about the secret to Old Testament typology that I’ve recently discovered and that no one else knows but learning how to humbly help others grow in Christ.
Would Paul praise your church the way he praised the Church in Rome?
