Sometimes things just run away from me and if I have spent a lot of time writing other things then I rarely feel like writing some more here. Hey ho. This fundamental & to be frank, brutal honesty by each person in their open confession of their most glaring struggle set a tone of incredible acceptance. Churches should take note. We are in the confession of sin business but so often we get in our own way and adopt attitudes which hinder people from being so honest. I know I’m not the first person to make such an observation but it still struck me forcibly. James 5:16 is a practice that too often goes unobserved but the call to confess & pray is clear. The path to holiness runs through the gate of confession.
