The Uppsala Half Marathon went OK. There was a bomb scare in the town (all fine in the end) but it meant they had to shorten the route by 400m and the finish was a brutal uphill section after running 20km! It was great to have my two best men with us over the weekend and then the rest of the week has been a mix of getting back on track, sending out the latest personal newsletter, writing tomorrow’s sermon on Samuel, and generally trying to keep up with myself!

This Week’s Postings
Hmm. Again.
From The Archives
Perhaps Paul spoke truer then he knew when he wrote, “to the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.” 2 The writer of Hebrews gets to the same place when he says, “for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame…” Jesus became weak, that he might save some weak ones & those he saved might share in his blessings.
Have a great weekend.
