I did a simple study on the word call.

1. Know you are a sinner: “And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”  (Mark 2:17)
2. Know that anyone can be loved by God: “And he said to them, ‘You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a Jew to associate with or to visit anyone of another nation, but God has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean’.”  (Act 10:28)
3. Know who is calling you: “We exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.  (1Th 2:12)
4. Know who to call to: “For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  (Rom 10:13)
5. Know you are a friend of God: “No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.”  (John 15:15)
6. Know you are a brother or sister of Christ: “Jesus and the people he makes holy all belong to the same family. That is why he isn’t ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters.”  (Heb 2:11)
7. Know you are a saint: “To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours.”  (1Cor 1:2)
8. Know the prize: “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.  (Php 3:14)”

Far from exhaustive but pretty encouraging all the same!
