Last night in our small group we began to look at the God’s mission in the world and what that means for the church. We said the mission of the church was “the announcement and the demonstration of the reign of God through Christ” (feel free to offer an alternative) and then asked the following questions:

What does a mission shaped church look like? What would you expect to see, hear, feel, encounter? What would be the characteristics of this kind of church?
