Yesterday I wrote this post: Who do you trust to tell you the truth about the world? which examined the problem of our deteriorating trust in the people and institutions that were supposed to tell us the truth. Many people now think that that news organisations are merely propaganda machines for either right/left depending on your views.

Of course the thing about conspiracies is that we never think what we believe might be one or that what we hold to be true, isn’t. Taking time to read and listen and think outside our usual framework is work and who wants to do more of that!

CHRISTIANS AND ALIENS

Speaking of aliens, Steven Spielberg’s latest film Disclosure Day has kicked off a lot of chatter about aliens. Now if you think aliens exist somewhere then you’d probably be reluctant to call that a conspiracy. It’s just an unfounded belief you have with (as of today) absolutely no evidence whatsoever. So have at it.

If you believe aliens have, and in fact regularly visit the earth (apparently they have a particular fondness for the continental USA and the UK), and if you believe governments know this (especially the American one) and are hiding this fact – then you believe there’s a bona fide conspiracy going on.
