The world is a strange place and you are one of the things that makes it so strange. You are a conscious being, you experience things and can reflect on them and write blogs about how you felt about what you experienced. Life can be stormy in more ways than one.

As always there are some very bright people who believe some strange things. Some deny human consciousness and others think that everything is conscious (panpsychism) and still others that it all comes down to vibrations. And all this leads some to wonder if we aren’t living in a simulation. I find it hard to see how any of these answers are any better or any more ‘intelligent’ or ‘rational’ than belief that there is a mind behind the universe to which we owe our awareness.
