Why do people who seemingly have it all then risk it by having an affair? While not from a Christian perspective, there are lots of insights here into identity, security, faithfulness. Also this: “It seems to me that in the past decade, affairs with exes have proliferated, thanks to social media.”
Although WIRED doesn’t seem entirely positive about this move, I applaud it. I think there’s a difference between free speech (no one is restricting the right to create pornography) and its universal delivery. I can stop people delivering junk to my mailbox and I should have the option of stopping people delivering porn to my PC. If people want it, they can go ask for it.
This should be seen as a problem: “Pornhub, the world’s most-visited pornographic website, had 64 million visitors per day in 2017, and the UK is its second biggest traffic driver.”
These apps, websites and podcasts will get you fluent in a flash. I’ve used and would recommend Memrise or Duolingo.
