Weekend links

Just doing a bit of catching up and hopefully clearing the decks again for some more regular blogging (I know I’ve said that a lot recently!), but here are some links to entertain, inform and provoke. Hope you all have a good weekend.

  1. There are some amazing photos in this collection about the world’s most precious resource: water. Some are graphic in showing what happens when there isn’t enough.
  2. Jeremy has an intereting piece on the return of the garden city
  3. Mint tackles the thorny issue of allowances for children
  4. Carl Trueman has a great article on the con of consumerism, using Apple as his prime example
  5. I’m hoping this will prove true for us, because bi-lingual immigrants are healthier than natives!
  6. I thought this on working through a church’s worship songs was an excellent idea

Lastly I loved this little video on the story behing the ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ posters. Plus the secondhand bookshop looks awaesome!
